The PSG Foundation Takes Centre Stage

After visiting them in Tunisia at the start of January during the Qatar Winter Tour 2017, the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation this time invited seven children without family support from the Darna association to Paris. Welcomed by CEO and Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the children were pitchside as the two teams warmed up before watching the match from the stands.

At the same time, two children from the ‘Make a Wish’ and ‘Petits Princes’ organisations also enjoyed a dream evening in which they got to meet their favourite players after the game.

Also, following his moving appearance on French TV after a kidney transplant, Imad, 8, was also invited by CEO and Chairman Al-Khelaifi, and had the chance to meet the Paris players in the dressing room after the match. “It was magical,” Imad said. “I saw all the players and took pictures with them. I was very impressed.”

At the end of the season, it’s nearly 100 children that will have enjoyed an evening at the Parc des Princes thanks to the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation. On top of this, more than 5000 children and parents have attended a Paris Saint-Germain match this season at the Parc des Princes.
