Red Bull Salzburg: Wheelchair Users join players on pitch for the Action Weeks

Red Bull Salzburg celebrated the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks during their home game against Austria Wien on Sunday. The game finished 5-1 to Red Bull Salzburg but the highlight of the game was when the players walked out onto the pitch but unlike normal where members of the Bullidikidz Club take the hands of their footballing heroes as they lead them onto the pitch, this time they were joined by 24 wheelchair users who had an experience they are not going to forget fast as they accompanying their idols onto the playing field. Both teams took part along with the team of officials to make a clear statement that football has an importance that is much more significant than who wins or loses and that football is really #Morethanfootball.

As well as the special match day mascots, the LED boards around the pitch were also showing the #Morethanfootball landmark in support of the campaign.

Congratulations to Red Bull Salzburg on the result but most importantly for the off the field activities and the experience they gave to the special match mascots.
