FC Emmen

Established in March 2018, The Naoberschap United Foundation is the official social foundation of FC Emmen. Through the foundation, local businesses can use the network and fame of FC Emmen for their own corporate social responsibility (CSR). It offers a unity for companies who want to contribute to the community regularly, instead of only every once in a while, and it gives businesses and entrepreneurs the opportunity to work together for the community, instead of alone.

The Foundation’s activities include:

• Breakfasts with FC Emmen players
• The Score a Book! project to encourage children to read
• The FC Emmen Street League, a project in which children receive football training in the neighbourhood and then participate in a social workshop with topics such as pocket money management, healthy nutrition and bullying
• FC Emmen Walking Football OldStars
