#Morethanfootball Action Weeks Impact Report – 2018

The 2018 #Morethanfootball Action Weeks were a huge success. With the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children, the European Club Association (ECA), and the European Football for Development Network (EFDN), the European football community promoted their community work during this two-week-and-a-half campaign.

89 participants from 30 countries around Europe, including FC Barcelona, Juventus, VFL Wolfsburg, Athletic Club Bilbao, Manchester United, Cardiff City, As Roma,  Legia Warsaw, AS Monaco, Shakhtar Donetsk, the Portuguese Football Federation, the Royal Belgian Football Association and UEFA officially took part in the campaign. A total of 638 items were shared online, reaching an impressive 18 million social media users. 

This impact report highlights some of the key activities of the participating organisations who have contributed to make the 2018 #Morethanfootball Action Weeks a success. Additionally, it provides an insight into the reach of this year’s campaign and highlights facts, figures and activities that were launched on a local, national and international level.
