Action Day – Partnerships
Partnerships are getting more and more important, especially when taking sport’s role and potential in relation to the seventeenth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). The 1st of April is the official birthday of EFDN, a network of more than 100 clubs, leagues and FAs that collaborate on a European level.
Our goal is to encourage clubs and football foundations to share knowledge, best practice and experiences on an international level in order to enhance quality and efficiency of national and local football for development initiatives. This is achieved through the international exchange of staff, trainees and participants, international conferences, an online knowledge platform and developing European community programmes. Our members also form partnerships with each other and outside organisations which contribute to strengthening the global partnerships for sustainable development.

- Highlight your initiatives you implement in partnerships with other clubs, organisations and partners
- Share your club’s contribution to the 17th Sustainable Development Goal
- Name the most inspiring club that is also participating in the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks and explain how you work with them
- Ask your followers, staff, coaches or players how teamwork, cooperation and partnerships help them to be #morethanfootball
