AC Omonia Nicosia- Refugee Camp Visit

AC Omonia Nicosia from Cyprus is participating in the #Morethanfootball campaign.

A delegation of OMONIAS, consisting of players and  staff of the club, recently visited the refugee camp in Kofinou, a village located in the Larnaca district of Cyprus.

Through the visit, the delegation showed their solidarity, and support to the refugees. While being there, the players of the football club distributed signatures, jerseys, played football and discussed the refugee crisis and their current settlement in Cyprus.

AC Omnia Nicosia spreads the message that in our society there is no place for racism and xenophobia – Sport unites people.
