With over 40,000 members, SV Werder Bremen is one of the largest and most traditional sports clubs in Germany. As a founding member of the Bundesliga, the “Green-Whites“ have already won four national championships and six times the German Cup. Werder celebrated the greatest triumph in the club’s more than 120-year history by winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1992. The club’s women soccer team is an established member of the first national league. As the first German professional club, Werder joined the global movement “Common Goal” in 2022.
